12.6. Steering transfer

Removal

Prevention

On models with the safety airbag during the work about sensors of collision of a steering column and the dashboard for an exception of operation of a safety cushion remove a weight wire from the accumulator and wait at least 1 minute before work.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish forward wheels for the movement directly forward. Lift a forward part of the car and record on supports.
2. Remove wheels. Remove an engine mudguard.
3. Remove spherical hinges of a tip of steering draft from rotary fists.
4. If it is necessary, remove reception exhaust pipes.
	5. Remove a poddomkrachivaniye plate (the central arrows – bolts of fastening of a plate of a poddomkrachivaniye, external shooters – bolts of fastening of steering transfer).
6. Remove the stabilizer of cross stability.
7. Install the corresponding container under steering transfer.
	8. Disconnect from steering transfer, the giving and returnable tubes and close them traffic jams.
9. Note mutual position of the lower universal hinge and an entrance shaft of steering transfer.
	10. Unscrew lower tightening a bolt of an intermediate shaft.
11. Unscrew bolts of fastening of steering transfer and take steering transfer on the right side of the car.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made in the sequence of the return to removal. Add liquid in system of the amplifier of steering. Remove air from system of the amplifier of steering.
