1.7. System cruise control

GENERAL INFORMATION

The cruise control gives an opportunity to remember and support any speed of the movement of a constant, beginning from about 40 km/h to almost maximum.
The cruise control should not be included if the movement with a constant speed is inexpedient (for example, a dense transport stream, plentiful turns, the slippery or dirty road).
In case of the automatic transmission inclusion the Cruise control makes sense only at a step of D.

Inclusion of the Cruise control system

Control lever system cruise control

1. Move the main CRUISE switch.
2.  Press a pedal of management of fuel supply until the car does not reach to desirable speed.
3.  Move a control lever down to position of SET, COAST and let out him. Release a pedal of management of fuel supply, at the same time the car will move with the set speed.

Temporary acceleration

Acceleration by pressing an accelerator pedal is possible. After the holiday of a pedal of an accelerator the speed of the movement which is written down in memory is established before.

For temporary cancellation of work of the Cruise control system perform the following operations:

  – press a brake pedal;
  – move a control lever to situation CANCEL;
  – on press a coupling pedal (only cars with the mechanical transmission);
  – you neremestit the selector lever in situation N (only cars with the automatic transmission).

Repeated call of the speed which is written down in memory

Move a control lever up to position of ACCEL, RESUME at a speed over 40 km/h: the speed of the movement chosen before shutdown is established.
The speed of the movement brought in memory after switching off of ignition is erased.

Switching off of the Cruise control system

Switch off the main switch of the Cruise control system.
Turn a key in the ignition lock in position of ACC.

Increase in speed of the car

Way 1

Move a control lever up to position of ACCEL, RESUME and hold it until the car does not reach desirable speed.
Step-by-step increase in speed of the movement on 1,6 km/h, can be made by consecutive movement of a control lever up in position of ACCEL, RESUME. Consistently press the lever until the car does not reach desirable speed.

Way 2

Press a pedal of management of fuel supply to increase car speed.
Move the lever down to position of SET, COAST once therefore the speed of the movement of the car will be recorded.

Reduction of speed of the car

Way 1

Move a control lever down to position of SET, COAST and hold it in this situation, before achievement of the required car speed.
Step-by-step reduction of speed of the movement by 1,6 km/h, can be made by consecutive movement of a control lever down in position of SET, COAST. Consistently press the lever until the car does not reach desirable speed.

Way 2

Press a pedal of a brake and slow down the car to the required speed.
Move the lever down to position of SET, COAST once therefore the speed of the movement of the car will be recorded.
