GENERAL INFORMATION

Removal of percussion caps of fastening of a carpet for access to a cover of the fuel pump

Arrangement of the fuel level sensor and block of the sensor of level of fuel / the fuel pump on models 4WD

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Take off pressure in fuel system. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Remove a back seat (the car with a body like "sedan") or a carpet (the car with a body "station wagon") for access to a cover of the fuel pump (see rice. Removal of percussion caps of fastening of a carpet for access to a cover of the fuel pump, rice. An arrangement of the fuel level sensor and block of the sensor of level of fuel / the fuel pump on models 4WD).
3. Unscrew screws of fastening of a cover of the fuel pump and lift a cover.
4. Disconnect the electric socket of the fuel pump.
	5. Weaken collars and remove hoses from unions of the fuel pump. On models 4WD also remove a hose of the pumping-over pump.
6. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the fuel pump.
	7. Take assembly of the fuel pump from the fuel tank.
	8. Disconnect the internal electric socket.
	9. Remove a fuel-supply line.
	10. Release fastening and remove the fuel pump.
10. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
