5.7. Fuel level sensor

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take off pressure in fuel system. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Remove the block of the index of level of fuel with fuel the pump from the fuel tank. On cars 4WD two fuel level sensors are installed. Unscrew nuts of fastening of the fuel level sensor.
3. Using an ohmmeter and moving a float of the fuel level sensor, measure the sensor resistance which has to change from 1 to 50 Ohm.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the fuel level sensor.
2. If sealing laying of the fuel level sensor at removal of the sensor is damaged, replace it with new.
3. Disconnect the internal electric socket.
4. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of the fuel level sensor.
5. Remove the fuel level sensor from a cover.
6. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
