6.2.8. Air stream sensor

GENERAL INFORMATION

The sensor of a stream of air measures amount of the air coming to the engine. Operation of the sensor is based on measurement of resistance of the heated conductor cooled by an air stream.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. For check of the sensor of a stream of air disconnect from it the electric socket and check that contact No. 1 of the socket there is tension at inclusion of ignition.
2. For verification of indications of productivity of the sensor of a stream of air connect the scanner to the sensor. On turns of idling and the heated-up engine the scanner has to show a consumption of air from 4 to 7 grams a second.
