9.3. Driveshaft
Driveshaft
The driveshaft connects the transmission to reverse main gear. Back part of the driveshaft fastens bolts to a flange of the main transfer. As the driveshaft is the balanced knot, sticking of dirt to it is inadmissible. At a car raising for maintenance it is expedient to clear the driveshaft and to check it for damages. Every time when the driveshaft is removed, for prevention of balancing it should be established in the same situation. Problems with the driveshaft are usually shown in the form of noise or vibration at the movement of the car. Check in the movement reveals driveshaft problems. |
