With back brake disks the emergency brake works at models irrespective of the hydraulic brake system. At the same time brake shoes of drum type are used, and as the brake drum an internal part of a brake disk is used.
Prevention

Surely you make replacement of all blocks even if the limit of wear was reached by one block.

During the work of brake shoes brake dust which contains asbestos, unhealthy is formed. Therefore when cleaning brake shoes do not use compressed air and do not inhale dust.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a brake disk.
2. If the brake disk is not removed from a nave, check that the parking brake is completely released.
3. If the brake drum still is not removed from a nave, it is necessary to take away from it brake shoes. It can be executed after removal of a stopper from a brake board.
4. Using the screw-driver or the curved lever, rotate a gear adjusting wheel and take away brake shoes from a brake disk.
5. Using special liquid, clear brake shoes of the emergency brake.
6. Check a condition of a brake disk. Measure thickness of a brake disk and diameter of the brake drum. The minimum thickness of a brake disk (at the left) and the maximum diameter of the brake drum (on the right) are beaten out on an internal surface of a brake disk.
7. Remove a plate of a spring of fixing of a front brake shoe, pressing a plate and turning it on 90 °.
8. Remove a plate of a spring of fixing of a back brake shoe, pressing a plate and turning it on 90 °.
9. Remove the top returnable spring of a back brake shoe.
10. Remove the directing level and a spring.
11. Remove the top returnable spring of a front brake shoe.
12. Remove brake shoes together with the regulator and the lower returnable spring.
13. Apply a layer of high-temperature lubricant on a brake board in places of contact of a board with brake shoes.
14. Install the lever of the emergency brake on a new back brake shoe, connect a cable of the emergency brake to the lever and establish a back brake shoe.
15. Establish a spring and a clamp of a back brake shoe, pressing a clamp and turning it on 90 °.
16. Establish the directing level together with a spring on a back brake shoe.
17. Establish the lower returnable spring and the regulator on brake shoes.
18. Establish a front brake shoe into place, having combined it with a guide of brake shoes.
19. Establish a spring and a clamp of a front brake shoe, pressing a clamp and turning it on 90 °.
20. Establish the top returnable springs of forward and back brake shoes.
21. Repeat operations on replacement of blocks of the emergency brake on the second wheel.
22. Establish a brake disk. Rotating the screw-driver a regulator wheel, part brake shoes so that the brake disk rotated without noticeable resistance.
23. Establish holders of a support, brake shoes and a support.
24. Establish wheels and lower the car.
