2.17. Check and replacement of brushes of screen wipers

GENERAL INFORMATION

Brushes and rubber elements need to be checked for existence of wear, cracks and damages periodically.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The film from pitch and dirt formed on brushes, reduces efficiency of their work therefore brushes need to be washed out clear water with soap from time to time.
	2. In the mechanism of the drive of brushes of screen wipers fastening bolts therefore when checking brushes of screen wipers it is also necessary to check and tighten all fastenings (on a photo – tightening of a nut of fastening of the lever of a screen wiper) can weaken.
3. If rubber elements are worn-out, cracked or deformed or badly purify glass, they need to be replaced with new.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Raise the screen wiper brush lever from a windshield.
	2. From two parties squeeze steel amplifiers of a rubber tape (it is specified by an arrow) a screen wiper and take a rubber tape of a screen wiper from a brush end face.
3. Establish a new rubber tape in a brush so that captures of a brush were established for the steel amplifier of a rubber tape, and move a rubber tape into a screen wiper brush.
