GENERAL INFORMATION

This part of the head included the general methods of dismantling of a head of the block of cylinders and other knots of the engine.

Information concerns the sequence of preparation for repair and the step-by-step description of operations of removal and installation of components of the engine, and their check.
It is not always easy to define as where in the engine demands repair. Too many factors should be taken into account. The big run of the engine is not always a prerequisite to repair and, on the contrary, the small run does not guarantee lack of need under repair.

The raised consumption of oil testifies to need to pay attention to a condition of piston rings, oil scraper caps and guides of valves. At making decision on repair of the specified knots make sure of lack of a leak of oil. Measurement of a compression in engine cylinders can give additional information on volumes of repair.

Check oil pressure size by means of the manometer installed instead of the oil pressure sensor.

The sensor of pressure of oil is installed in the top part of the block of cylinders about the generator.

For improvement of access to the sensor of pressure of oil it is necessary to remove the generator.

The lowered size of pressure of oil testifies to wear of bearings or damage of the oil pump.
Falling of power, uneven operation of the engine, blows and mechanical noise, the increased noise of the valvate mechanism and high fuel consumption, as a rule, testifies to need of repair. Especially if all these troubles arose at the same time.
