3.16.14. Honingovaniye of cylinders

GENERAL INFORMATION

Honingovaniye of walls of cylinders creates optimum conditions for work of piston rings.

The greatest distribution was gained by the honingovalny tool with the sprung whetstones.
The honingovalny tool in the form of a round wire brush is also widely used.

Besides, carrying out a honingovaniye will require a kerosene quantity, rags and an electric sverlilka.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Fix the honingovalny tool on an electric sverlilka and insert it into the cylinder,
2. Grease with a thin layer of kerosene of a wall of the cylinder, include an electric sverlilka and move the honingovalny tool up and down to that time while on walls the correct crossed drawing is not formed.
3. Ideally lines have to be crossed at an angle 60 °.
4. You watch that in the course of a honingovaniye of a wall were moistened with a thin layer of kerosene.
5. Do not take the honingovalny tool from the block of cylinders at the included electric sverlilka. Moreover, make several courses of the honingovalny tool at the switched-off sverlilka and only after that take it from the block of cylinders.
6. Similarly to an otkhoninguyta other cylinders.
7. Carefully wash out the block of cylinders from the remains of the abrasive tool.
8. Dry up the block of cylinders and grease surfaces with a thin butter layer.
