3.16.25. Installation of the engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Apply a thin film of high-temperature lubricant on vents of the conducted transmission shaft.
2. Using the load-lifting mechanism, lower the engine in a motor compartment. At installation of the engine if necessary incline and turn it so that it was established into place, without having done harm.
3. Combine a bent shaft of the engine with the conducted transmission shaft. Move up the engine to the transmission and establish the top, and then lower bolts of fastening of the transmission to the engine.
4. Lower the jack supporting the transmission and remove it from under the car.
5. Finally lower the engine and remove slings of the load-lifting mechanism from the engine.
6. Raise the car so that it was possible to work under a motor compartment.
7. Fix engine support, having tightened bolts and nuts the required moment.
8. On models with the automatic transmission fix the hydrotransformer to a drive plate.
9. Establish a reception exhaust pipe.
10. Install a coupling cable on the lever of switching off of coupling and adjust a cable.
11. Further installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
12. Adjust a tension of driving belts.
13. Fill in oil in the engine and the transmission.
14. Fill in cooling liquid in the cooling system.
