Identification number of the car (VIN)

Identification number of the car (VIN) is seen through a windshield from the driver.

Identification number of the car (VIN) is put on the plate, on the left side of the forward panel and is visible through a windshield. Identification number of the car contains information where and when the car was manufactured, year of release and type of a body. The plate with identification number of the car is also attached in a motor compartment to a partition.

Number of identification consists of figures of designation of model and six-digit serial number.

The plate of identification of the car is attached in an end face of a door of the driver.

The plate with data of reduction of toxicity of exhaust gases is attached under a car cowl.

Identification number of the engine is on the plate attached on the forward right side of the engine. The sixth figure designates an engine code at the left, and the tenth – a code of year.
