4.3.4. Compressor

GENERAL INFORMATION

Compressor of the air conditioning system

The compressor of the air conditioning system is installed on the forward left side of a motor compartment and is given by a belt from a pulley of a bent shaft.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Discharge the air conditioning system.
2. Weaken the mechanism of a tension of a driving belt and remove a driving compressor belt. On later models before removal of the compressor remove the generator.
3. Having unscrewed fastening bolts (are specified by an arrow), disconnect pipes of supply of coolant to the compressor.
4. Disconnect the electric socket from the compressor.
5. Unscrew bolts and remove the compressor.

Installation


Prevention

At installation of the new compressor it is necessary to establish a new receiver / dehumidifier also.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. At installation of the new compressor merge oil from the old compressor in a measuring test tube. Fill in the same amount of new oil in the new compressor.
2. Install the compressor and fix by bolts.
3. Connect coolant pipes to the compressor, previously having established new sealing rings and having oiled them.
4. Further installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
