8.2.6. Switch of blocking of a starter and light of a backing

GENERAL INFORMATION

Condition of contacts of the switch of blocking of a starter and light of a backing depending on position of the lever of the choice of transfers

Check

Check that start of the engine is possible only in position of PARK or NEUTRAL of the lever of the choice of transfers and that lamps of a backing join only at turning on of the reverse gear.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift the car and record on supports.
	2. Disconnect the electric socket from the switch.
	3. Weaken bolts of fastening of the switch of blocking of a starter and light of a backing (are specified by shooters).
4. Connect an ohmmeter to the corresponding contacts of the electric socket of the switch and move the switch to such situation when there is a disconnection of contacts of the switch of blocking of a starter (see rice. An arrangement of contacts on the electric socket of the switch of blocking of a starter and light of a backing on early models, rice. An arrangement of contacts of the electric socket of the switch of blocking of a starter and light of a backing on late models, rice. A condition of contacts of the switch of blocking of a starter and light of a backing depending on position of the lever of the choice of transfers).
5. Tighten bolts of fastening of the switch.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift the car and record on supports.
2. Disconnect the electric socket from the switch.
3. Disconnect a cable of the choice of transfers from the lever on the transmission.
	4. Unscrew the nut fixing the lever of the choice of transfers to a shaft on the transmission.
5. Remove the lever from a shaft.
6. Unscrew bolts and remove the switch of blocking of a starter and light of a backing.
7. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
