2.43.10. Electric equipment

GENERAL INFORMATION

The starter is not able to turn the engine:

  – the accumulator is discharged or faulty;
  – accumulator poles are weakened;
  – connections of a starter are weakened;
  – the traction relay of a starter is faulty;
  – starter brushes are worn out or get stuck;
  – the traction relay is faulty;
  – short circuit in starter windings;
  – starter details are faulty.

The starter turns the engine very slowly:

  – the accumulator is discharged;
  – connections of a starter are weakened;
  – starter brushes are worn out or get stuck.

Extraneous noise during the work of a starter:


  – the gear wheel of the drive or эубья a gear wreath of a flywheel is strongly worn-out;
  – bolts of fastening of a starter are weakened.

The accumulator is not recharged:

  – fall of plates of the accumulator;
  – low level of electrolyte in the accumulator;
  – the driving belt of the generator is not tense;
  – the generator or the regulator of tension is faulty.

The control lamp of accumulator charging burns:

  – the generator or the regulator of tension is faulty;
  – break of a driving belt of the generator.

The control lamp of accumulator charging does not burn:


  – the control lamp fused;
  – break in a lamp chain;
  – the generator or the regulator of tension is faulty.

Indications of devices increase with increase in turns of the engine:

  – tension regulator is faulty.

The index of fuel or temperature do not give evidences:

  – break of an electric chain;
  – the sensor is faulty.

The index of fuel or temperature show the maximum value:

  – short circuit of an electric chain;
  – the sensor is faulty.

Bulbs do not burn:

  – the glow lamp fused;
  – the safety lock fused;
  – the switch is faulty;
  – break of an electric chain.

The electric motor does not work:


  – the collector is polluted or burned;
  – the anchor is faulty;
  – jamming or wear of brushes;
  – shaft bearings are jammed;
  – the winding is faulty;
  – the safety lock fused.
