GENERAL INFORMATION

Defects of a driving belt

Check of a tension of a driving belt

Driving belts are located from the forward party of the engine. Depending on a complete set of the car and the engine installed in it, one or several driving belts are used.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Uncover, closing belts, and check a condition of belts for existence of cracks, stratifications and oiling (see rice. Defects of a driving belt). If necessary replace a belt.

2. Check a tension of a driving belt by means of two rulers.

3. The tension of a driving belt needs to be adjusted so that when pressing by a hand thumb on a long branch of a belt the deflection made about 5-6 mm.

Adjustment

Arrangement of bolts of fastening of a casing of a driving belt.

Bolts of fastening of a casing are specified by shooters.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For adjustment of a tension of a driving belt weaken fixing and, rotating an adjusting bolt, adjust a tension of a driving belt.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Weaken a tension of a driving belt and remove it from pulleys.

2. Establish driving belts on pulleys. At the same time belts have to settle down precisely on the center of pulleys. Adjust a tension of driving belts.
