2.6. Level of brake fluid and liquid of the drive of coupling

GENERAL INFORMATION

Arrangement of a nutritious tank of the hydraulic drive of coupling on cars with the mechanical transmission

Check of level of brake fluid (later models)

Prevention

Brake fluid is poisonous therefore be careful that it did not get on a body and on a paint and varnish covering of the car.

Level of brake fluid and liquid of the drive of coupling is visible through the transparent plastic tank installed on the main brake cylinder. The main brake cylinder is located in front of the vacuum amplifier of brakes in a motor compartment. The main cylinder of coupling is located on a partition of a motor compartment. Level of liquid has to be between tags of max and min on the tank case.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For a dolivka of liquid clear a tank cover in order to avoid hit of dirt in a tank.
2. Add the required brake fluid to the necessary level. It is impossible to mix liquids of different types at all.
3. When the tank is uncovered, check existence in a tank of pollution, foreign particles or drops of water. If they are found, then liquid in system needs to be replaced.
4. After a liquid dolivaniye densely screw up a tank cover.
5. If the level of brake fluid in a tank quickly decreases at operation of the car, then check connections and details of the brake system for leaks.
6. If the level of brake fluid decreased to a tank bottom exposure, it is necessary to remove air from the brake system.
